About Useless
Useless is an ongoing AI project by creative technologist Jacob Faulkner that imagines surreal objects through vivid prompts. Each piece explores light, texture, material, and emotion, drawing inspiration from possible futures and creative imagination.
The project began as an exploration of AI's ability to generate objects that exist in the liminal space between functionality and absurdity. These objects challenge our perception of utility and purpose, inviting viewers to question the relationship between form and function.
All images are generated using advanced AI models trained on vast datasets of visual information. The process involves crafting detailed prompts that guide the AI in creating these imagined objects, with each iteration refining the concept further.
